These terms apply to your use of thewovengarden.com (“the site”). By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

“We” and “us” mean The Woven Garden, the publisher of the site. You can reach us at contact@thewovengarden.com.

What the site provides

The site provides calculators, guides and reference information to help you estimate quantities of materials for garden and yard projects. It is offered free of charge, for general information.

The site does not provide professional advice. Nothing on it is engineering, architectural, construction, legal, horticultural or safety advice for your particular project. The disclaimer forms part of these terms, and you should read it.

Using the site

You may use the site for your own personal or business projects. You may print pages and shopping lists for your own use, and you may link to any page.

You agree not to:

• copy, republish or redistribute substantial parts of the site without permission
• scrape the site or access it by automated means in a way that burdens it, other than ordinary search engine indexing
• reproduce the calculators, their code or their text on another site
• interfere with the site’s operation or security, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to it
• interfere with, block from other users, or click on advertisements for any purpose other than genuine interest
• use the site for anything unlawful

Intellectual property

The text, calculators, code, diagrams, illustrations and design of the site belong to The Woven Garden or are used with permission, and are protected by copyright.

You may quote short passages with a link back to the page you are quoting. For anything more, ask first. We are usually glad to say yes to schools, community gardens and non-commercial uses.

Formulas and facts are not ours to own. The geometry on this site is free for anyone to use.

Accuracy

We work hard to make the calculators and guides accurate, and we correct errors when we find them. Even so, the site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not promise that it is free of errors, that it suits your particular purpose, or that it will always be available.

Results are estimates. They depend on the measurements you enter and on typical values for materials that vary between products and suppliers. You are responsible for checking quantities, product specifications, prices and local requirements before you buy or build.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, The Woven Garden is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or your reliance on anything on it. That includes the cost of materials bought in the wrong quantity, the cost of delays or of redoing work, damage to property, and personal injury, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.

Advertising and links to other sites

The site displays advertisements served by third parties, and it links to other websites for reference. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, products, services or privacy practices of advertisers or other sites. An advertisement appearing on the site is not a recommendation by us.

Privacy

The privacy policy and the cookie policy explain what information is collected when you use the site and the choices you have.

Changes to the site and to these terms

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the site at any time. We may update these terms, and when we do, the date at the top of this page changes. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

If part of these terms does not apply

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
